AUDIO/VIDEO

Whole House Audio

  • Enjoy music in any room of your home, even outdoors. Move from room to room with the same rich sound wherever you go. Allows you to control your music system remotely, from another part of the house. Allows you to hide equipment in cabinets or closets. You don't need equipment in every room.
  • Audio equipment in a central location (family room, den, pool etc.) feeds sound to speakers located in other rooms and areas. Speakers can be mounted in walls or ceilings and can be painted to match your decor — they can be made to virtually disappear.
  • Volume controls and keypads are mounted in walls like light switches. They're wired into the system so that you can control the sound in a room or the entire house. Simple systems share the same sound in all areas (multi-room). More sophisticated systems allow different programs to be heard in different rooms at the same time (multi-source).

Whole House Video

  • Lets you watch the program from a VCR, DVD, or satellite receiver in other rooms of your house. Lets you watch the picture from closed circuit TV cameras on any TV in your house: see who's at the front door; keep an eye on the baby upstairs; or watch the kids in the pool. See who's at the door from any TV in the house. Check on the baby while watching TV. Watch the kids in the pool while online in the den. Monitor activity throughout your home, from any TV, even your PC monitor.

  • High quality shielded cables run from outlets in each room to a central panel in your garage or utility room. At locations where a VCR, DVD, or satellite receiver will be located, two cables are installed. This allows the program from these devices to be sent back to the central panel where it can be distributed to other rooms.

  • 'Feeds' from your roof top antenna, cable TV, closed circuit cameras, and satellite dish are brought to the central panel. At the central panel, some of the 'feeds' from closed circuit cameras, satellite receiver, DVD, etc., are turned into channels (modulated) so that you can select those programs on any TV in your home.
